1.Requirements or requests from the internal and the external:

  1. Sales -- clients -- existed customers(in negociation)/potential customers
  2. Customer Support -- clients -- mentioned problems/hidden problems
  3. Tech Support -- the related SDK

P.s. tech support might require some needed code segments from suppliers to develop some build-in parts in our side.

2.Contact with suppliers to check all the points we mentioned:

  1. Remember to emphasize some crucial points and notes by repeating or highlighting.
  2. Add/Remove some trivial requirements after the discussion with both side (supplier and internal teams)
  3. to make a final decision and a generic plan

3.Follow the developing process and inform the latest modifications

4.Test the original version(probably with other teams) and provide the feedback to supplier immediately

5.Test the final version and upload the corresponding invalidated files to shared space over the whole enterprise

QA to do the all-round testings and validate the new firmware. PM to upgrade the related files, such as feature list/use case... if any improvement.

7 Upload the final version on shared space and republish the validation of this brand new firmware.
